Biography
Valerie Breazeale is a consummate watercolor and sketch artist who received her B.F.A. from SUNY Brockport. Her work has been published nationally and is celebrated in many private collections across the country. During her extensive travels Val finds herself captivated by the landscape and the wide variety of people she meets. She has studied with many renowned painters and continues her study of art always searching for new ways to convey her love of color, people and life’s limitless subjects.
Valerie's work is exhibited in various private collections across the country. She designed and illustrated a children’s book promotional cover and was the featured cover artist for Spheres -
Artist Statement:
I describe myself as a value painter that uses color intuitively. I work primarily in watercolor because of its fluidity and transparency seeking to push the envelope with lights and darks to create drama that entertains the viewer and ignites an emotional connection.
